A CALL TO ALL GRADUATES WITH HONORS

If you graduated high school, junior college, community college or university with honors, you qualify to seek membership in Gamma Honors, the International honors society exclusively for honors graduates. In other words, high school graduates, community college graduates, college graduates and university graduates must consider Gamma Honors, if they in fact, graduated with honors.

Gamma Honors was founded in part to address the lack of sustained and well-deserved recognition of students who graduate with honors, i.e. students whose academic performance deserve more than a mere mention during their graduation or on graduation day. What makes this group of graduates special and unique is the fact that they consistently performed well throughout the course of study at their respective institutions and qualified for a variety of academic recognitions, for example, Student of the month, Dean’s List, President’s List including membership in a number of academic honors societies, sororities, and fraternities honoring their academic performance. These academic honors societies include beta gamma sigma, national honors society and graduate students honor society. Many of these students, as a result, received a variety of scholarships including the national honors society scholarship, graduate student scholarship and numerous high school and college academic-based scholarships.

Incidentally, there have not been similar societies or associations recognizing them, post graduation until now with the founding of Gamma Honors. It is the goal of Gamma Honors to identify these graduates and promote their names and accomplishments to the wider public including prospective employers and institutions of higher education.

Students who graduate with honors consistently possess qualities often sought-after by employers and job recruiters. These qualities include hard work, persistence, ambition, resourcefulness, vision, discipline, leadership and good communication skills. And for prospective schools and admissions officers, these graduates also often possess good verbal, quantitative, and other skills germane to advance academic work.

It is precisely these qualities common among members of Gamma Honors that the association is determined to promote and market. It is Gamma Honors vision to be the ultimate place or source for employers in search of good, smart, and motivated employees to hire and for schools, the ultimate place to recruit students.

This and the numerous benefits of membership will however, only accrue to those qualified graduates, whether at the high school, college, or university levels who seek and become members of Gamma Honors. Similarly, we ask you to assist us spread the word about Gamma Honors to anyone who may qualify including college seniors and high school seniors who may be interested in becoming members following their graduation.

All qualified members of Gamma Honors will receive a certificate of recognition and membership, and will have their names published online and in a book entitled “Best in Academics among Graduates ……….”
