Who are Campus Representatives?

These are students who help disseminate the Society’s news and promote its activities at their institutions and campuses; for example, placing posters or passing information from the Society not only to graduating students/seniors but also to campus honor clubs, fraternities, and sororities as well as administration.

Advantages/Benefits of being a Campus Representative

As a Campus Representative, you may include the title and duties in your resume. Your association with Gamma Honors by itself is one that others will envy.

Requirements

Campus Representatives must be full-time students with a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale or must be considered honor students based on the scale or qualification(s) used by their institutions.

Duties of Campus Representatives

As a Campus Representative, you will assist Gamma Honors disseminate the society’s news and promote its activities in your school. You will also be responsible for keeping the society updated with activities in your school including any mentions of Gamma Honors and other information that may be useful in fulfilling its mission.

Your duties will include, for example, placing posters on your campus bulletin boards and distributing information from the Society to other campus honor societies, clubs, fraternities, and sororities as well as administration.

As a Campus Representative, you will attend and represent Gamma Honors at campus-wide meetings relevant and useful in promoting Gamma Honors and its mission. As a Campus Representative, you will be required to send us a short summary report (highlights) of your promotional activities on behalf of Gamma Honors—two reports a year, one at the end of each semester, by April 1 and December 1 of each year.

(2) Submit a letter stating your interest in becoming a Campus Representative for Gamma Honors, why you believe you will make a good Campus Representative, and how you plan to promote Gamma Honors and its services to other students

(3) Submit a copy of your official transcript in a sealed envelope

(4) Submit a letter of recommendation from one of your professors/teachers who can attest to your ability to promote the activities of the Society in your school.
